Covering 476 hectares, Mailiao Industrial Harbor maintains a 24-meter water depth able to accommodate vessels up to 300 thousand tons. The Harbor’s 20 berths currently handle over 70 million tons of cargo a year. In 2024, Formosa Plastics Marine operates a fleet of 43 vessels, including 4 chemical tankers, 12 oil & chemical tankers, 2 oil tankers, 7 VLCCs, 17 bulk carriers and 1 container vessel, with total deadweight 5.46 million tons.
